The Olympic torch passed through Atins!
On 13th June the Olympic torch for the Games in Rio de Janeiro 2016 passed through the Lençóis Maranhenses starting in Barreirinhas and stopping in Vassouras, Mandacarú and Atins before heading on to the Lagoa Azul in the middle of the National Park. In Atins, the local kiters gave the guard of honour and local Kite dude Samuel carried the torch!
